Crowds, cars and burnouts: Were you at Summernats 30 years ago?

The sound of revving engines, the smell of burnt rubber, the taste of VB - Summernats is here again. 

Love it or hate it, the event has been a solid fixture on Canberra's summer calendar for 30 years. 

As the 2018 Summernats rolls into town, we've had a look through the archives and pulled out some stellar photos, including of the first Summernats in Canberra back in 1988.
